Here are pictures of the steering shaft rebuilding process. Originally, the shaft is
kept together with melted plastic. I used roll pins to keep the shaft together.
I used Eastwood Chassis Black paint to coat the shaft. |

the grant steering wheel that came with the car. I did this so I can use the column. Eventually, I will
replace this wheel with a new one and install it permanently. |

The following photos show the installation of the Billet Specialties Steering Column Dress Up Kit.
This kit replaces the Tilt Lever, Turn Signal lever and Hazard knob on the column. I also had
to replace the lock cylinder because the original one in the column did not work so well. |
